As an architectural photographer, capturing the Lucky Residence in North Scottsdale was an opportunity to document a contemporary desert home that harmonizes bold modern design with the raw beauty of the surrounding landscape. Designed by Erik Peterson with interiors by Kim Scodro, the residence blends steel, stone, wood, and glass in ways that highlight both form and function. My focus was on emphasizing the home’s architectural intent—clean lines, strategic overhangs, and uninterrupted views of Pinnacle Peak—while showcasing the seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. This project reflects the kind of elevated, design-driven architecture that makes Arizona such a compelling destination for modern living.
